When you're young you are filled potential. Lately, I feel as if my potential has been replaced by experience.

How have you been Xanga? It's been awhile since I've spoken with you and I've had two major changes in my life.

NUMBER 1.
I no longer live the noble life of a philosophical grad student in NYC. I now reside just outside of Amsterdam and work for a business firm. haha. Remember how I said I would never sell out my soul or mind, and chastised all that did? Well, it seems that life has a funny way of turning you into a hypocrite.

NUMBER 2.
Living in stark opposition to my youthful ideals has given me some semblance of happiness. When you realize that no matter what happens in life the world continues to turn, you can get through almost anything.

(Two loves, with a hand on heart. You'll always be remembered.)

There's no such thing as politics. There are only lies and broken promises.

"Honey in your ear, and a dagger to your back. Beware the men singing of praise and peace."
Please don't follow blindly just because someone promises change.

The holidays are here and that means it's time to focus on materialism and commercialism. There's no time for worship because we're all too busy shopping for people we hate.

Enjoy the season where the lines seem longer and people are just a little bit more rude.

What is the purest form of love?

My better half asked me this question the other day and I've been unable to answer her... partly because I don't believe in love... I believe in contentment.
